Originally from Guangdong, China, Madam Tot developed a keen interest in calligraphy and painting at a young age. Under the careful guidance of her father and brother, and teachers Master Yan Zhenqing and Master Ligong, Madam Tot developed the ability to paint elegant and delicate drawings.

After migrating to Australia, Madam Tot's passion in calligraphy saw her continue to practice and improve on her area of expertise. In the past two decades, she has demonstrated and has been commended for her abilities to paint joyous and meaningful words of art for the celebration of Chinese New Year.

In recent years Madam Tot developed a keen interest in oriental watercolour painting, which she now pursues alongside her calligraphy art. She continually strives to improve and learn more about her art, and has recently been studying under the guidance of Australian-Chinese artist Master Xu, Zhen Yuan Yu and Peter Ly.

Madam Tot wishes to share her art and its meaning with everyone.
